Coloured stainless steel sheets for lift cladding
SampleZ sources and imports coloured PVD-coated stainless steel sheets for lift cladding in Israel, for lift refurbishment companies, contractors and architects, in new lifts or when refurbishing an existing lift. The cladding is for the car walls, the car ceiling, and the frames and surrounds on the landings. Sheets can be supplied whole, or cut and bent to size as ready-to-install parts. Contractors and developers
In a new building, send the specification clauses, the number of cars and floors, and the delivery destination. We will prepare a quote with the material, finish, quantity and supply scope.
Architects and interior designers
You can choose a colour and finish for the lift that suit the materials in the lobby, and review a physical sample (at a charge) alongside them before ordering.
What we supply for lift cladding
Sheets can be supplied whole, for fabrication in your workshop, or cut and bent to size as ready-to-install parts. They are intended for three parts of the lift:
Car walls
Sheets for the inside walls of the car, to the dimensions of each wall.
Car ceiling
Sheets for the ceiling, in the colour of the walls or in a different colour.
Frames and surrounds on the landings
Sheets to clad the frame and the surround of the lift opening, to the design and dimensions.
Thickness: 0.8–2 mm, width: 1,220 mm, and lengths from 3.05 to 12 metres. Longer lengths have a minimum order quantity. The standard sheets are made of 304 stainless steel.
Colours and finishes for lifts
Colours
You can choose from all the colours: gold, black, rose gold, copper and bronze, as well as sapphire blue, rainbow, pink and purple. The last four are for indoor use only. A lift car is an indoor space. A frame that is outdoors, for example at an open entrance, needs a colour and coating that are suitable for outdoors.
Finishes
The sheets are available in brushed and mirror finishes, embossed or patterned, and with an anti-fingerprint finish. The suitability of a finish for its use is checked for each project.
The same colour in every car and on every floor
The colour may vary slightly between production batches. It is therefore best to order the sheets for all the cars and floors together, and approve a physical sample first (at a charge).
Durability and cleaning
The colour is part of the coating layer, rather than paint applied to the sheet. Clean with a soft cloth and a mild cleaning product, without abrasive materials.

Send the dimensions or a drawing of the car, and of the frames on the landings if they are part of the order. We will check the cutting and bending with the factory before quoting. Installation in the lift is carried out by the customer or contractor.
